PRESS RELEASE
Equal Rights For Farmworkers
330 Miles Toward Justice
March To Albany

April 19th-April 30th

Sponsored by Centro Independiente de Trabajadores Agricolas (CITA) and the Justice for Farmworkers Campaign

Farmworkers and their allies are marching across New York, from both New York City and Seneca Falls, to protest the denial of their basic rights by the Governor and the New York Senate. The federal case of farmworker slavery in western New York this past year is ample proof that farmworkers are vulnerable and it is time for change.

Farmworkers in New York are excluded from the following basic human rights

* A day of rest * Overtime pay * Disability Insurance *Collective Bargaining Protections

Please Scroll Down to see when the march will be passing nearest to you! Please don't hesitate to call us for more information at the Rural and Migrant Ministry (845) 485-8627 or visit our website at www.ruralmigrantministry.org
